LAPTOP ASSEMBLY & MANUFACTURING · NIGERIA

Building Nigeria's laptop manufacturing capacity.

Taiwo Electronics is an electronics manufacturer assembling and building laptops for the Nigerian market. Our recycling division recovers raw material from e-waste — specifically printed circuit boards and batteries — and channels the proceeds into growing our manufacturing line.

Building Africa's Digital Future — One Device at a Time.

OUR VISION

Within 10 years, Taiwo Electronics will have assembled and sold 600 million electronics across Africa — ushering in a new era where Chinese manufacturers establish direct factories on the continent, creating a self-sustaining African manufacturing ecosystem.

How we're built

Manufacturing is the core of the business. The recycling division exists to feed it — recovering raw material from retired electronics and generating the capital that funds our assembly lines.

CORE BUSINESS

Laptop assembly & manufacturing

We assemble and manufacture laptops for the Nigerian market — from component-level assembly through final product build, quality control, and packaging. This is what we're scaling toward: local production capacity that reduces reliance on imported devices.

SUPPORTING DIVISION

E-waste recycling

We collect e-waste — focused on printed circuit boards and batteries — and process them into raw material: recovered metals from PCBs and battery-grade materials from spent cells. The proceeds fund our manufacturing growth, giving us a self-reinforcing path into the market.

FUNDS MANUFACTURING

Two operations, one strategy

Every raw material we recover and every laptop we assemble runs through the same disciplined process, with the recycling division built to scale ahead of — and fund — manufacturing capacity.

What we hold ourselves to

Six commitments that shape how we design, price, build, hire, and show up — for as long as it takes.

01

Is it good for Africa?

We design for Africa — our heat, our dust, our electricity, our languages, our people. Every device, every decision, every partnership is tested against this question: is it good for Africa? If the answer is no, we do not do it.

02

Quality at the right price

We deliver brand-new devices at used prices — without compromising quality. Every laptop, phone, and appliance must be reliable, durable, and affordable for the African customer. We do not cut corners. We innovate to reduce costs.

03

Adapt fast with AI

We move quickly and intelligently. AI powers our forecasting, inventory, pricing, and customer insights. We learn from data, adjust in real time, and outpace competitors who rely on intuition. We do not guess. We know.

04

Happy people, happy company

"We feed the ox well." We invest in our employees because happy, skilled, and motivated people build better devices. We create a culture of growth, respect, and belonging — because our team is our greatest asset.

05

Grit and perseverance

We do not give up. Omatek collapsed. Zinox retreated. Afrione gave up on phones. We learned from their failures and kept moving. One device at a time. One customer at a time. One factory at a time. We are building for 10 years, not 10 months.

Customers first

We listen. We serve. We build trust. Every customer — from the student in Kano to the business owner in Lagos to the school in Nairobi — is our priority. Their success is our success.

The recycling division, in detail

Newly founded alongside the manufacturing business, the recycling division is deliberately narrow: we collect and process only two e-waste streams — printed circuit boards and batteries. Recovered material is sold into global commodity markets, and the revenue funds our laptop assembly and manufacturing operation.
